Where is it? How do I get there?
From Malaga
From Malaga drive the highway A7 / E15 towards Motril, Almeria When the highway finishes you keep on the N340 / E 15 until you turn towards Granada GR14 / E902. Then drive a new part of the highway A44. Go off towards Orgiva A346. Cross the village of Orgiva and turn right towards Trevelez A4132. After km 18 there is a junction to the right Mecina Fondales, Ferreirola. (Just as a reference) You keep on direction to Pitres about 200m till you see a whitewashed tree on the right side, just opposite drive up the asphalted road, which after a while converts into a dirt track. On half way up there is a sign "Parque Natural" keep on driving up to the right about 0,8 km till you see another whitwashed tree and on the right side the sign to the entrance to "Cortijo Prado Toro"
From Granada
From Granada take the highway A44 towards Motril. Get off at Nr. 164 Lanjaron, Alpujarras. Drive the A348 to Lanjaron and Orgiva. Just before the village of Orgiva you turn left towardsTrevelez the road A4132. A bit after Km 18 there is a junction to the right to Mecina Fondales, Ferreirola (just as a reference) You keep on towards Pitres about 200 m, till you see a whitewashed tree on the right. There on the left side you drive up an asphalted road, which after a while converts into a forestry track. On half way up there is a sign "Parque Natural". Keep on driving up to the right about 800 m till you see another whitewashed tree and the sign on the right side to "Cortijo Prado Toro".
